The i2i Lab develops innovative solutions to existing and emerging health challenges for communities facing a high burden of disease and/or unequal access to health services. In an ever-changing global context, we rely on versatile solutions to achieve our mission. The i2i Lab welcomes global and Indigenous health concepts, approaches and programs from innovators that challenge the status quo.
There are two ways that you can join the i2i Lab and work with us to develop global health innovations with impact:
There are no minimum educational or professional experience requirements to join the Lab. We know that lived experience provides unique insights into the barriers faced by communities or health systems as well as the solutions needed to overcome them.
The i2i Lab holds regular calls for i2i Fellows to explore innovative responses to global and Indigenous health opportunities, gaps or problems. This fellowship allows you to align your passion with our mission by proposing, designing and piloting an innovation through proof-of-concept over a six-to-eighteen month time period.
Your fellowship proposal may focus on improving Dignitas International’s programs in Malawi or Northern Ontario, or may aim to broaden the organization’s mandate or geographical coverage. We’re seeking innovations that will benefit health systems and the communities served.
We will soon be accepting Ignite Fellowship Award Applications.

The i2i Lab brings forth a specific global health opportunity, gap or problem facing Indigenous, excluded and/or underserved groups and creates fellowship opportunities for those with complementary skill sets and experience to join the i2i Lab.
We are not currently accepting Challenge Fellowship Award Applications.
